About the role#
The Marketing Department at Liberty University is looking for a Student Videographer to join our video team. You will help us document the history of the university and promote our mission through visual content. This position requires availability for events on nights and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Brainstorm and develop video concepts that align with university brand initiatives.
- Conduct event-based video production across campus.
- Operate video and audio equipment, including transporting and setting up lighting gear.
- Assist on larger productions such as athletic intros, commercials, and testimonials.
- Perform post-production work including sorting footage, rough cuts, audio adjustments, color correction, and final editing.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or GED.
- One to three years of related experience.
- A recent videography demo reel submitted with your application.
- Proficiency with the Apple computer platform.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere.
- Preferred majors include Media Studies, Communications, Marketing, or Graphic Design.

- This is an on-site position located in Lynchburg, Virginia.
- This is a part-time, paid role with rolling start dates.
