About the role#
The Men's D2 Hockey Equipment Student Assistant position supports the daily operations of the hockey department. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Lynchburg, Virginia. The position is paid, with compensation starting at $12.77 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Assist coaches and student-athletes with equipment needs.
- Carry out specific duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- Support the general needs of the department.
- Stay informed about new technologies, processes, and industry performance benchmarks.
- Work as part of a team to support the mission of the university.
What you'll need#
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Interest in supporting athletic department operations.
- Willingness to stay updated on equipment technology and industry standards.
- Enrollment in relevant fields such as Kinesiology, Health Administration, Business Administration, or Communications is preferred.
