About the role#
As a Data Science Intern, you will participate in real-world analytics and artificial intelligence projects. You will work with data from various sources, identify trends, support analytical models, and create visualizations. You will also gain exposure to how analytical solutions move from research to customer-focused products. This internship provides an opportunity to apply data science and AI to business challenges while building technical and professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple systems.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to support business decisions.
- Assist with analytical experiments and the development of machine learning solutions.
- Contribute to projects involving artificial intelligence, vehicle intelligence, telematics, mobility, imagery, video, risk prediction, or business analytics.
- Evaluate data sources for quality, coverage, and potential business applications.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings.
- Support the documentation, validation, and deployment of analytical solutions.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, product teams, and business stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Expected graduation date of May 2028.
- Experience working with data through coursework, projects, research, or prior internships.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, or similar analytical tools.
- Foundational knowledge of statistics, machine learning, data visualization, or data quality concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly through written materials and data storytelling.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- Location: On-site in Alpharetta, Georgia.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 24 to July 30, 2027).
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $20 per hour.
- Note: This position is not eligible for benefits and does not offer relocation assistance.
