About the role#
The Project Analyst Intern supports the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) by evaluating operational processes and analyzing business data. You will help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, governance, and visibility across the organization. This role provides exposure to enterprise-level project management through hands-on work on strategic initiatives involving process optimization, analytics, and AI modernization.
What you'll do#
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders to understand workflows, tools, and operational challenges.
- Analyze operational data and metrics to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Document current-state business requirements and process maps.
- Support assessments of governance, reporting, knowledge management, and business continuity.
- Research and evaluate ways to use AI and automation to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Work with cross-functional partners in product, technology, finance, and go-to-market teams.
- Create reports, implementation roadmaps, and presentations for executive leadership.
- Present your findings and process improvement concepts to EPMO leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Business Analytics, MIS, Project Management, IT, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of May 2028.
- Experience using data or research to solve problems and creating data-driven reports or presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with tools like SharePoint or Microsoft Teams.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Genuine interest in project management, business transformation, and operational excellence.
Location & details#
- Location: On-site in Alpharetta, Georgia.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 24 - July 30, 2027).
- Employment: Full-time (10 weeks).
- Compensation: $20 per hour.
- Note: This position is not eligible for benefits and does not offer sponsorship.
