About the role#
This position offers hands-on training in mechanical, HVAC, and energy design. You will work alongside designers and engineers to develop various aspects of building projects. This is a full-time, on-site role starting in January 2027 through the spring term, with potential for multiple rotations.
What you'll do#
- Produce detailed layouts and equipment details for HVAC systems.
- Create one-line diagrams and schematics.
- Assist the design team in assembling organized sets of drawings.
- Help with data collection and field verification tasks.
- Collaborate with the team to support project development.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- A strong interest in building systems mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT is preferred.
