About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in our Charlotte office. You will work directly with our design team and Professional Engineers to learn how we design and implement mechanical systems and energy-efficient measures. This role requires you to work on-site full time.
What you'll do#
- Produce detailed layouts and equipment details for HVAC systems.
- Create one-line diagrams and schematics.
- Assist the team in assembling organized sets of project drawings.
- Work with engineers and designers to develop various aspects of a project.
- Perform data collection or field verification as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Civil Engineering program.
- A strong interest in building systems mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT is preferred.
- Ability to work full time in our office.
- You must have current work authorization in the U.S. as we cannot provide sponsorship for this position.
