About the role#
Schaeffler is seeking a Co-op student for the Fall 2026 semester at our manufacturing plant in Cheraw, South Carolina. You will work within departments such as Production Technology, Industrial Engineering, Digitalization, Quality, or MPL to provide technical support and gain hands-on experience in your field of study.
What you'll do#
- Manage projects focusing on efficiency, lean concepts, and six sigma.
- Analyze data and conduct time studies to drive process improvements.
- Assist with production planning.
- Support daily department tasks and specific project duties.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited institution in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Business Administration.
- Standing as at least a Sophomore.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
