About the role#
This is a full-time, paid co-op position for Summer 2027. You will work within the Engine or Chassis departments on research and development projects. This role involves hands-on training and exposure to our technological processes while working alongside our engineering team.
What you'll do#
- Support hardware architecture design, including component sizing and selection for mechatronic systems.
- Perform data analysis to support system characterization, modeling, and validation activities.
- Develop, implement, and validate algorithms to enable system functions based on application requirements.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on technical projects.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to complete assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 per semester.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preference is given to candidates with experience in 3D CAD modeling and software.
- Ability to work at a workstation for extended periods and lift up to thirty pounds.
