Co-op/Intern - Master Planning & Logisitics (Automotive - August 2026)

About the role#

This is an 8-month Co-op/Internship position within the Master Planning & Logistics department. You will support manufacturing operations by managing material flow, analyzing demand, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure production requirements are met.

What you'll do#

• Provide operational support for the manufacturing area and related functions.
• Verify capacity and demand risks, identifying and communicating potential constraints.
• Monitor supplier deliveries and update SAP records accordingly.
• Manage material planning, including the creation of releases and EDI transmissions.
• Analyze MRP runs to determine demand and monitor inventory levels against established min/max requirements.
• Handle order management, including purchase orders, production orders for tool centers, and supplier scheduling agreements.
• Generate consumption reports and assist with inventory and cost reduction initiatives.
• Participate in daily scheduling meetings with production leadership.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a post-secondary program focused on Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and general computer applications.
• Basic knowledge of SAP software.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and solve problems effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Disciplined, organized, and detail-oriented work habits.
• Consistent planning abilities and flexibility with working hours.

• Location: Stratford, Ontario, Canada.
• Term: Summer 2026 (beginning August 2026).
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $25.40 to $28.70 per hour, depending on the year of post-secondary education completed.
• Employment Type: Full-time.
