About the role#
This co-op position offers an opportunity to gain engineering experience within the Engine or Chassis departments. You will work on a specific project aligned with current research and development initiatives. The role involves daily collaboration with the engineering team on technical projects, providing exposure to manufacturing and technology development processes.
What you'll do#
- Support hardware architecture design, including component sizing and selection.
- Perform data analysis to support system characterization, modeling, and continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement, and validate algorithms to enable system functions.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to complete assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2.5 GPA per semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated mindset and a drive to achieve results.
- Ability to work at a workstation for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
