About the role#
Stella-Jones is hiring a Forestry Summer Student for the Woodlands division in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027. You will work under the supervision of experienced forestry professionals to gain hands-on experience in the field.
What you'll do#
- Assist with road and block layout.
- Conduct timber cruising.
- Perform silviculture surveys.
- Work outdoors across diverse terrain.
What you'll need#
- You are a career-minded, full-time student with an interest in forestry.
- You have good communication skills.
- You are physically fit and capable of working on varied terrain.
- You hold a valid driver's license.
- You are familiar with GPS technology.
- Students pursuing degrees in Environmental Engineering, Agriculture, Biology, or Kinesiology are encouraged to apply.
