About the role#
The Sustainability Center of Excellence at Mackenzie Investments is looking for an intern for the Winter 2027 term. This position runs from January to April 2027. You will report to the Director of Sustainability Oversight and Disclosure and work with the broader team to support our sustainable investment strategies and ESG initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Research sustainable investing trends and market developments.
- Prepare executive-level presentations.
- Review business processes to find opportunities for improvement.
- Develop sustainability reports at the fund, holdings, and firm levels.
- Support team events and initiatives.
- Contribute to external publications and thought leadership pieces.
- Assist with research to support stewardship efforts.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program (such as Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Economics, Sociology, or Political Science) with plans to return to school after the internship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI tools.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based in the Greater Toronto Area.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days per week in the office.
- You must be eligible to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) for the duration of the term.
