About the role#
This internship focuses on Model-based Definition (MBD) and Computer-aided Design (CAD) digital technologies. You will support the update and implementation of current CAD methods, documentation, and validation processes to help keep our practices current. This is a full-time, paid position based in Mississauga, Ontario.
What you'll do#
- Review and update existing CAD methodologies using CATIA and other CAx tools.
- Research and document new processes and procedures.
- Organize CATIA training sessions and update training materials.
- Perform data exchange audits by reviewing transfer logs.
- Assist with various CAD and collaboration tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
- Mandatory experience in 3D modeling.
- Strong analytical thinking, resourcefulness, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Background or interest in Engineering or Operations.
- An understanding of MBD or PLM is considered an asset, as is experience with CATIA V5.
Location & details#
- Location: Mississauga, Ontario (on-site).
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 5th to April 23rd, 2027).
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time hours.
- Requirements: Candidates must pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary clearances for handling controlled goods.
