About the role#
This is a full-time Mechanical Engineer Intern or Co-op position based in Charlotte, North Carolina. You will work on-site with our design team to support mechanical, HVAC, and energy design projects. This role runs from January 2027 through Spring 2027, with dates flexible to accommodate your school calendar.
What you'll do#
- Produce detailed layouts and equipment details for HVAC systems.
- Create one-line diagrams and schematics.
- Help the design team assemble organized sets of construction drawings.
- Assist with data collection or field verification at project sites.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop various aspects of building projects.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT is preferred.
