About the role#
This internship offers a 12-week experience within the oil and gas business. You will work on real projects, gaining hands-on experience in core operations. Positions may include roles such as Production, Facilities, Reservoir, Drilling and Completions, or Operations Engineer. You will work under the guidance of a manager and a mentor who provide technical support throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Participate in hands-on projects designed to add value to operations.
- Attend training and development courses.
- Join lunch and learns, field trips, and social activities.
- Meet with company executives and leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.85 on a 4.0 scale.
- An expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- A genuine desire to build a career in the oil and gas industry.
Location & details#
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 9/80 work schedule, which includes a 3-day weekend every other week.
- Locations: Midland, TX; Carlsbad, NM; Denver City, TX; Houston, TX; The Woodlands, TX; and Platteville, CO.
- Compensation: This is a paid position. Relocation assistance or corporate housing is provided if applicable. You are eligible to begin investing in a 401(k) and retirement plan on your first day with company matching.
