About the role#
This is a 12-week, full-time summer internship based in Des Moines, Iowa. You will work 40 hours per week from May through August 2027. This paid position offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to senior leadership within the hospitality industry.
What you'll do#
You will support the Talent Development team while applying your academic knowledge to real projects. Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting with content planning for conferences by joining planning calls and discussions.
- Collaborating with team members and leaders across different departments.
- Participating in professional development and networking sessions.
- Gaining a broad understanding of company operations through training, shadowing, and mentorship.
- Presenting your project outcomes and summer experience to senior leadership at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program, specifically in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Strong skills in communication, problem solving, and collaboration.
- An eagerness to learn and contribute to a mission-driven organization.
- Availability to work full-time for the duration of the 12-week program.
