About the role#
This is a full-time, 12-week internship running from May through August 2027. You will work 40 hours per week in a professional environment, gaining exposure to the hospitality industry and our operations through mentorship, training, and shadowing. This is a paid position at $22.50 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Complete projects that will be implemented within the organization.
- Work with leaders and team members across various departments.
- Take part in professional development and networking events.
- Present your project work and summer experience to the senior leadership team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program.
- A major in Business, Operations, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Knowledge or experience in environmental, health, and safety is helpful. This includes an understanding of Life Safety, OSHA, risk management, and risk mitigation.

- This position is based on-site in Des Moines, Iowa.
- Employment is full-time for the summer 2027 term.
- A post-offer background check and reference check are required.
