About the role#
The Talent Acquisition Intern works with the Human Resources team in Buffalo, New York. This position provides hands-on experience in recruitment projects across various departments. You will work on-site for a duration of one year, with an expected schedule of 20 to 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Manage internship recruitment across multiple departments.
- Build relationships with universities, student groups, and academic departments to promote career opportunities.
- Coordinate interviews, background checks, and onboarding processes for new hires.
- Represent the company at university job fairs and campus networking events.
- Conduct exit interviews for outgoing interns.
- Assist the Corporate HR team with special projects and general administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current college student or recent graduate pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to engage with candidates, employees, and academic partners.
- Ability to handle sensitive HR information with strict confidentiality.
- Prior experience in administrative support, HR, or customer service is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
