About the role#
Lactalis American Group is hiring a Sales Intern to join our team in Buffalo, New York. This role supports Revenue Management, Sales, and Trade Marketing through financial reporting and data analysis. You will work on projects that drive business decisions and help us meet revenue growth objectives. This is a full-time, paid internship starting in Fall 2026.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and validate complex trade claims, sales data, and business performance metrics.
- Track, evaluate, and report on the performance of marketing initiatives.
- Partner with Revenue Management and Trade Marketing teams to monitor and optimize trade spending.
- Build, analyze, and present profit and loss (P&L) statements.
- Identify new business opportunities and gather market intelligence.
- Serve as a liaison between remote sales teams and headquarters to ensure alignment on priorities.
- Support special projects including sales reporting, performance recaps, and dashboard development.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or Economics.
- Strong business acumen with an understanding of Sales and Finance principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Experience designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
