About the role#
The HR Core Services Intern will support the Core Services Department at Lactalis American Group. This paid position involves working with a team of HR professionals on projects related to benefits, HR systems, payroll, and policy development. You will contribute to daily department objectives and assist with various administrative assignments.
What you'll do#
- Conduct internal HR audits of employee records, policies, and procedures.
- Perform data analysis to help departments make informed decisions.
- Assist with mandatory reporting requirements, including Affirmative Action.
- Create manuals and standard operating procedures for new processes.
- Support daily tasks such as auditing employee changes and payroll data.
- Process documents like wage garnishments and unemployment filings.
- Help produce communication materials for benefits, wellness, and payroll updates.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time college student or recent graduate (sophomore year or greater).
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive HR information.
- Strong organizational skills and a task-oriented approach with high attention to detail.
