About the role#
L3Harris Technologies is hiring a Software Engineering Intern to join our team in Clifton, New Jersey. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. We are looking for students or recent graduates who want to work on software for tactical radio equipment.
What you'll do#
- Apply engineering and computer science principles to software development.
- Support every phase of the software development life cycle, from requirements analysis to final testing.
- Work with team members to evaluate hardware and software interfaces.
- Write software test procedures and maintain related documentation.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to conduct tests and analyze operating data.
- Participate in peer reviews to help identify and fix software defects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Experience with the software development life cycle.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, C, Java, Python, or others.
- Knowledge of real-time control systems.
- Ability to engage in peer reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
