About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for students pursuing degrees in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering. You will work on-site in Herndon, Virginia. The schedule follows a 9/80 model where you work 80 hours over nine days and have every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts to develop software for target applications.
- Develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software.
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements, design, implementation, and testing.
- Create software test procedures, programs, and related documentation.
- Join peer reviews to identify, track, and repair defects.
- Use modeling tools to establish operating data and evaluate experimental test results.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree.
- Coursework or experience in C++, C#, C, Java, or similar programming languages.

- Location: Herndon, Virginia.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $29.00 to $53.50 per hour.
