About the role#
This is a 12-week, paid, full-time internship program designed to provide hands-on experience in the aerospace and defense industry. You will work alongside team members on real-world projects involving our technology portfolio. You will contribute to the design, development, and testing of software solutions ranging from ground control systems and user interfaces to data pipelines and simulation tools.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of software components and systems.
- Contribute to the development of tools and applications that support robotics and aerospace platforms.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineers to integrate and test new capabilities.
- Help develop scripts or automation to improve team workflows and efficiency.
- Support the development of prototypes, simulations, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
- Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and the use of version control and defect tracking tools.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
