About the role#
Stoke Space is offering software engineering internships for the Summer 2027 term. You will join our team in Kent, Washington, to work on real, open-ended problems that directly impact our launch vehicle development. We look for interns who can stay focused, move fast, and learn on the fly while working closely with mentors on high-impact projects.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the full software lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Own a specific chunk of software or project tasks from initial design to final implementation.
- Collaborate with mentors and team members on projects across Boltline, Vehicle Software, or Data teams.
- Apply your technical knowledge to solve engineering challenges in a hands-on environment.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or computer engineering, computer science, or a similar STEM field.
- Project-level experience using Python, C, or Rust.
- Hands-on engineering experience gained through internships, personal projects, work, or team activities.
- Ability to manage a complex technical project and drive it through execution.
