About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Malabar, Florida. You will work on-site to help manage our manufacturing build plans and ensure we meet customer delivery schedules.
What you'll do#
- Create and carry out manufacturing build plans.
- Input plans into the Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) system.
- Track material availability and kit readiness.
- Release shop orders and keep accurate records of inventory.
- Manage floor stock for program components.
- Update lead times for manufactured items.
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing and Quality teams to fix schedule issues.
- Coordinate with Materials Planners to manage dock dates.
- Provide hardware status updates and performance statistics to the program team using the Manufacturing Execution System.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong computer and analytical skills, including the ability to handle large sets of quantitative data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- A working knowledge of relational databases.
- Experience or knowledge related to scheduling, supply chain planning, or MRP systems is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Malabar, Florida.
- The schedule follows a 9/80 format, where you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
