About the role#
The Supply Chain Program Management Intern supports the team in coordinating activities across programs and products within the Power Systems organization. This role involves working with cross-functional teams including Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Operations to gain experience in supply chain planning and the product lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Support communication and coordination between Supply Chain and other functional teams for assigned programs.
- Assist in the development and execution of supply chain strategies to meet program goals.
- Monitor material and supplier milestones to help ensure timely program execution.
- Track supply chain cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
- Analyze key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in supply chain risk and opportunity tracking, including documenting mitigation plans.
- Support compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Assist with financial and program reporting, data gathering, and status updates.
- Support supplier relationship activities and proposal preparation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, or process improvement concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
