About the role#
We are hiring a Software Engineering Intern for the summer of 2026. You will join our engineering team in Palm Bay, Florida, to work on advanced software solutions. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role where you will gain experience across the entire software development lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of software for real-time control of tactical radio equipment.
- Work with the engineering team to design, implement, and integrate software and hardware interfaces.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to testing.
- Develop software test procedures and necessary technical documentation.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to gather operating data and evaluate test results.
- Write and maintain code using various languages and operating systems.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of embedded software for real-time applications.
- Ability to use modeling tools and equipment.

- Location: Palm Bay, Florida.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes every other Friday off.
