About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work on embedded and real-time software solutions for tactical radio systems. You will apply principles of computer science and engineering to develop software for mission-critical applications. This role requires on-site work in Greenville, Texas, for the Winter and Summer 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, development, and testing of embedded software.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate hardware and software components.
- Develop software test procedures and maintain related documentation.
- Participate in peer reviews and track software defects.
- Use modeling tools to conduct experimental tests and evaluate performance data.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor, Master, or PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, or Graphic Design.
- Experience with programming languages such as C++, C#, C, Java, or Ruby.
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems and the software development life cycle.
- Familiarity with modeling tools and experimental testing processes.

- Location: Greenville, Texas.
- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, 9/80 work week.
