About the role#
This summer internship provides engineering support for new product development and existing factory operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer and performance requirements. The schedule follows a 9/80 format, where you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Translate product requirements into mechanical specifications and test plans.
- Run verification testing based on those specifications.
- Perform structural and thermal design analysis to prove designs meet requirements.
- Generate and process engineering change orders.
- Collaborate with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program.
- Studies in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026.
- The role is based on-site in Palm Bay or Malabar, Florida.
