About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Rochester, New York. You will join the engineering team to assist with ongoing product development and factory operations. The schedule follows a 9/80 format, meaning you work 80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Support mechanical engineering tasks for new product development.
- Provide technical support for existing products on the factory floor.
- Collaborate with mechanical designers to create CAD models and technical documentation.
- Manage and process engineering change orders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor, master, or PhD program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or Materials Science Engineering.
- Familiarity with CAD or FEA analysis tools.
- Experience with the design or analysis of electronic systems, structures, or mechanisms.
