About the role#
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our design team. You will support the development, documentation, and design of mechanical components and assemblies. This role provides hands-on experience with product development cycles and engineering documentation while working alongside professional design teams.
What you'll do#
- Create and modify 2D engineering drawings using Autodesk AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D models and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
- Generate detailed manufacturing drawings, Bills of Materials, and assembly documentation.
- Update existing CAD models and drawings to reflect engineering change notifications.
- Ensure all work complies with company drafting standards, GD&T practices, and manufacturing requirements.
- Organize and maintain CAD files and documentation within our system.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Coursework or practical experience using 2D or 3D CAD software.
- Basic ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
