About the role#
L3Harris is looking for a business-minded intern to join the Maritime Sector Strategy team. You will work within the Business Development organization to gain experience in market research, data analytics, and executive reporting. This role involves supporting product and business insight initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do#
- Support the business development team in identifying and pursuing strategic opportunities.
- Analyze market trends and current events relevant to the industry.
- Create digital narratives to showcase company strategy and technologies.
- Prepare and monitor external communications.
- Communicate complex information through presentations and updates for executive-level audiences.
- Engage with customers to gather insights and incorporate them into strategic planning.
- Apply analytical thinking to support data-driven recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Marketing, or Mathematics.
- Strong analytical skills and an interest in aerospace, defense, and national security trends.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Capacity to engage with customers and translate their needs into strategy.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship located in Palm Bay, Florida.
- This position is on-site.
- The work schedule follows a 9/80 format, where employees work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
