About the role#
As a Logistics Intern, you will support the movement of materials, records, and parts across various programs. You will report to the Logistics Manager and handle the daily tasks required to keep our inventory and supply chain running. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship based in Waco, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Perform manual and clerical tasks, including data entry and analysis for receiving, storing, and shipping sensitive electronics and equipment.
- Provide help desk support over the phone to assist with troubleshooting and fault isolation for vital equipment.
- Analyze technical data and failure reports to recommend repair strategies, system sparing, and replacement items.
- Receive, track, and document parts throughout the entire repair cycle.
- Manage supply support tasks such as material research, ordering, warranty tracking, packaging, and transport.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in logistics or a related field.
- Familiarity with logistics practices, processes, and metrics.
- Experience using logistics tools.
- Prior experience in logistics support.
- Experience or certification as an instructor or trainer.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: 9/80 work schedule, which includes working 80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- Work modality: On-site.
