About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in a fulfillment environment. You will work directly on the warehouse floor alongside site leadership to learn daily operations across E-commerce, Wholesale, and Retail replenishment. This role is for those who enjoy solving problems, setting priorities, and motivating teams in a production-focused setting.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate daily work activities across departments to improve workflow and reach operational goals.
- Identify floor bottlenecks and find real-time solutions.
- Ensure associates have the tools, training, and support to meet safety and quality standards.
- Inspect work accuracy and output quality.
- Track, analyze, and report on production metrics and KPIs.
- Monitor daily labor utilization and supply costs to support cost control.
- Assist managers with reviewing performance and attendance data.
- Promote facility safety, ergonomics, and housekeeping standards.
- Cross-train employees across different departments.
- Foster an inclusive work environment.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, specifically in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to support, motivate, and mentor team members.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, and crouch throughout your shift.
- Ability to reach, push, pull, and lift materials up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to operate warehouse equipment.
