About the role#
Anthropologie is looking for Apparel Design Interns to join the team for the Summer 2027 program. You will assist in the design and development of seasonal collections, from initial concept to final sample. You will work alongside experienced designers and cross-functional partners, gaining exposure to the creative process through research, sketching, fabric sourcing, and presentation building.
What you'll do#
- Assist in creating mood boards, color palettes, and seasonal concept presentations.
- Support the design team with sketching, CADs, and technical packages.
- Help source fabrics, trims, and inspiration materials for upcoming collections.
- Organize and maintain sample libraries, swatch books, and design archives.
- Participate in fittings, design reviews, and cross-functional meetings with buying and production teams.
- Conduct trend and market research to support design direction and innovation.
- Assist in preparing line sheets, spec sheets, and internal presentation materials.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Experience with CLO 3D or similar software is a plus.
- Excellent sketching and visual communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn.
