About the role#
Anthropologie Home is seeking design students for the Summer 2027 internship program. This is a paid, full-time, on-site opportunity based in Philadelphia. You will work alongside experienced designers and cross-functional partners to gain hands-on experience in the product creation process from concept to execution.
What you'll do#
- Develop original concepts for decorative accessories, textiles, prints, patterns, functional décor, and lighting.
- Create cohesive color palettes, print stories, and product collections.
- Research trends in interiors, fashion, materials, and consumer lifestyles.
- Produce sketches, mood boards, concept presentations, colorways, and design specifications.
- Explore materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with product development, merchandising, and sourcing teams.
- Refine designs based on feedback while balancing aesthetics, functionality, and commercial viability.
- Maintain organized design files, artwork, and specifications.
What you'll need#
- Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in industrial design or a similar field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Interest in AI programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
