About the role#
L3Harris Technologies is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern in Rochester, New York. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. The schedule follows a 9/80 format where you work 80 hours over 9 days, giving you every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Define design approaches and parameters.
- Analyze systems to check if designs meet time and cost constraints.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to collect data, run tests, and evaluate results.
- Choose components and equipment based on specifications and reliability.
- Run simulations and present your design reviews to other engineers.
- Write scripts to manage synthesis and build tools.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- You have completed your Bachelor's degree within the past 12 months.
- Familiarity with tools like VHDL, MATLAB, FPGA, or EDA software is preferred.
- Experience with design tools such as Code V or Zemax is helpful.
