About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work on electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft. You will gain experience across various platforms and systems while working on-site in Palm Bay, Florida, during the summer of 2026.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop electrical systems for aircraft and ground stations.
- Use CAD tools to create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels.
- Prepare engineering drawings and coordinate design activities with manufacturing, production, and systems engineering teams.
- Support the development of avionics, RF, data processing, and power distribution systems.
- Assist with system testing and integration on aircraft.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD.
- A degree path in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with CAD and PLM software like NX and Teamcenter is preferred.
- Knowledge of Siemens Capital software is a plus.
