About the role#
L3Harris Technologies is hiring an Electrical Engineer Intern for a full-time co-op term from January 2027 through July 2027. You will join the Aeronautical Systems Engineering team to design and develop electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft and ground stations. This role offers exposure to various aircraft platforms and systems.
What you'll do#
- Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD tools.
- Research and prepare engineering drawings.
- Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams.
- Develop Avionics, RF, LAN, Data Processing, and Power Distribution systems.
- Support the testing and integration of systems directly on aircraft.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Siemens Capital software.
- Familiarity with CAD and PLM software, specifically NX and Teamcenter.
- Understanding of basic aircraft systems.
- Experience with systems integration.
Location & details#
- Location: Greenville, Texas.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes 80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
