About the role#
This is a paid, hands-on internship based in New Ulm, Minnesota. You will work with our retail team to gain experience in store operations and leadership. The role involves exposure to various business functions, including marketing, inventory control, accounting, auditing, and ordering. You will also assist with human resource tasks.
What you'll do#
- Support the retail team with daily operations.
- Participate in inventory control and auditing processes.
- Assist with ordering and human resource responsibilities.
- Gain exposure to different leadership styles within the retail department.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a 2 or 4-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Human Resources, or Operations Management.
- You have a high aptitude for learning new tasks.
- You are comfortable using Microsoft Office products.
- You have strong oral and written communication skills.
- You can maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- You demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Location & details#
- Location: New Ulm, Minnesota.
- Schedule: This is a part-time role. You must be available for at least 20 hours per week during school semesters, with the potential for up to 40 hours during school breaks. We offer flexibility to accommodate your class schedule.
