About the role#
We are looking for a Finance Data Analytics Intern to join our Corporate Accounting and Finance Department. You will work with management and coworkers to analyze data and improve corporate profitability. This is a paid, part-time position requiring at least 15 hours per week during the school year, with the option to work full-time during school breaks.
What you'll do#
- Pull data from the general ledger and other internal systems.
- Provide real-time, data-driven analysis of income and expense accounts.
- Design, enhance, and maintain dashboards, reports, measurement tools, and KPIs.
- Research and analyze financial data to find opportunities for improvement.
- Develop efficient methods for data collection.
- Gather and translate technical information for stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics program.
- Strong data analysis skills and the ability to interpret numbers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong customer service skills.

- This role is based on-site at our corporate offices in either Onalaska, Wisconsin, or Deforest, Wisconsin.
- This position is not eligible for employment sponsorship.
