About the role#
Kwik Trip is looking for a Finance Data Analytics Intern to join our Corporate Accounting and Finance Department. You will pull data from our general ledger and other internal systems to provide analysis on income and expense accounts. This role involves working with management and coworkers across the company to find ways to improve corporate profitability.
What you'll do#
- Design, enhance, and maintain measurement tools, KPIs, dashboards, and reports.
- Gather, translate, and deliver technical information to stakeholders.
- Research, identify, and analyze income and expense data to find opportunities for improvement.
- Develop efficient methods of data collection.
What you'll need#
- Currently attending school for Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Strong data analysis skills and the ability to interpret numbers.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service skills.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship based on-site in Onalaska, WI or DeForest, WI.
- You must be willing to work approximately 15 hours per week during the school term, with the option to work full-time during school breaks.
