About the role#
The Kroger Engineering Internship is a 12-week immersive, full-time program designed to help students grow their professional skills. You will work within the Corporate Supply Chain team and various operational departments, including Procurement, Transportation, Maintenance, and Information Technology. This role is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, and runs from January 11, 2027, to April 23, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Manage multiple supply chain projects while meeting project timelines.
- Conduct supply chain analysis and document best practices.
- Partner with teams to elicit, analyze, and deliver supply chain solutions.
- Assist in the creation of process improvement projects.
- Communicate project status, identify risks, and escalate unresolved issues.
- Seek and recommend new project opportunities.
- Complete a cumulative project and present your findings to the executive team or management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- A major in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Transportation, Retail Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, or Operations Management.
- Work authorization that does not require sponsorship now or in the future.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or within a group.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A proactive approach to change and a commitment to customer service.
