About the role#
Our Edmonton office is seeking undergraduate students in business, commerce, accounting, or finance to join our Indirect Tax practice for a Winter 2028 internship. This program is designed to develop future leaders through meaningful work and professional development. You will gain exposure to tax planning and compliance advice regarding GST/HST, QST, provincial sales taxes, property transfer taxes, excise taxes, and carbon taxes.
What you'll do#
- Gain authentic engagement experience by working on active client projects.
- Assist clients through indirect tax audits and appeals.
- Provide planning and compliance advice to help clients meet their tax obligations.
- Participate in firm-wide learning and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with professionals from across the organization.
What you'll need#
- A strong academic record.
- A commitment to obtaining your CPA designation.
- The ability to build productive networks and establish collaborative relationships.
