About the role#
This co-op position is open to students currently enrolled in the University of Guelph Real Estate Program. You will join the Deal Advisory, Valuations - Real Estate practice in our Toronto office for the Winter 2027 term. This role offers the opportunity to develop skills as a property valuation expert while working on complex assignments across various asset classes.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team with research and analysis related to the valuation of various real estate properties.
- Complete valuations of industrial properties, retail centres, office buildings, infrastructure, hotels, and special-use properties.
- Support the KPMG Audit practice by reviewing reports and addressing valuation needs.
- Gather, analyze, populate, and maintain an internal database of market data.
- Consult with professionals from the global network to find solutions to unusual valuation circumstances.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the University of Guelph Real Estate Program.
- Valid candidate membership with the Appraisal Institute of Canada, or a willingness to work towards it.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Real Property Valuations and Advisory Consulting.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A valid Ontario Driver’s License for property inspections.
