About the role#
As a Sales Intern at Klein Tools, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting our sales team in Lincolnshire. You will assist with the development of sales programs and promotions while learning how a manufacturing business functions. This role involves a variety of administrative and project-based tasks that connect your classroom studies to real-world business operations.
What you'll do#
- Support the sales team with customer service tasks and program development.
- Compile reports and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Create and maintain business documents, correspondence, and filing systems.
- Screen and direct incoming phone calls and written communications.
- Research information for specific projects as assigned.
- Handle sensitive information while maintaining security and confidentiality.
- Use office equipment and software to prepare and edit documents.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma.
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing.
- Proficiency with PCs and standard business office software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and interact professionally with all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Location & details#
- Location: Lincolnshire, Illinois.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship at $23 per hour.
- The position follows a rolling term.
