About the role#
The Human Resources Intern joins our team to support company goals and initiatives. This position provides students with business experience and skills that apply to their classroom education. You will work on various projects and assist with daily department operations.
What you'll do#
- Handle sensitive and confidential information while maintaining security procedures.
- Compile reports and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Create and maintain business documents, files, and record keeping systems.
- Prepare, type, and edit correspondence based on notes and directions.
- Receive, screen, and direct telephone and written communications.
- Research information for assigned projects and provide status updates on open issues.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma.
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program with a focus on Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Comprehensive knowledge of PC and business office software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a group and interact with people at all levels of the organization.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located in Mansfield, Texas.
- The role is on-site and follows a rolling schedule.
- You must be able to occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
