About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will work on real-world business challenges alongside experienced professionals. You will engage with cross-functional partners to improve production and support daily operations. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Mansfield, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Improve manufacturing processes and shop organization.
- Create standard work procedures and draft documentation for setups.
- Post visual controls to support production.
- Gather insights from products and consumers to provide recommendations.
- Analyze manufacturing issues to find root causes and define corrective actions.
- Assist various departments with building products.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering.
- You hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- You have a strong grasp of PC use and business office software.
- You work well in a group and communicate clearly.
- You can handle confidential information and manage changing priorities.
- You are comfortable with physical tasks, such as lifting up to 25 pounds, standing, or walking, as required by the shop environment.
