About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring an Environmental Science Intern for our Charleston, South Carolina office. This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date. You will work directly with project managers to solve problems and assist in bringing client projects to life.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers with complex tasks and collaborate with team members across different disciplines.
- Learn federal, state, and local regulations relevant to our projects.
- Gain practical experience in natural resource regulations and water quality programs.
- Conduct wetlands identification work, including tasks related to botany and soil science.
- Expect to spend 10 to 30 percent of your time on fieldwork or travel.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Biology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
