About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is hiring an Environmental Planning Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This is a paid, part-time position based on-site in Tampa, Florida. You will work with our team to support planning projects through data collection, analysis, and reporting.
What you'll do#
- Prepare technical reports, planning memos, and client deliverables.
- Visit project sites to gather necessary data.
- Analyze the social, cultural, physical, and environmental impacts of various projects.
- Provide written and graphic input for feasibility studies and project status reports.
- Coordinate graphic exhibit preparation and work requirements with internal disciplines.
- Support public meetings and participate in team meetings.
- Learn new tools, processes, and industry best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours toward a Planning degree by the start of the internship.
- A willingness to learn and collaborate in both independent and group settings.
